Airmatic Suspension Installation for Mercedes Benz 00-06 S-Class without "ABC Sport" Instructions
Make sure key is out of ignition and no power is on.
Front:
1. Jack up each corner and locate ride height sensor straight inside wheel well.
2. Remove stock arms by using an adjustable wrench. Slide it over the arm on the top and twist firmly buy gently.
3. Set the new adjustable links so that they are equal in length.
For front longer is lower.
&nbps;Each 5mm longer then stock will lower approx. 1/2 - 3/4 inch. Don't have to lock them tight just snug.
4. Install adjustable links with long end to top. May need pliers to squeeze on.
Rear:
1. Jack up the rear and support on stands. The ride height sensor arm is above the differential.
2. Mark the link 1st so you have a reference of the stock length. To lower the rear lossen the 10mm bolt that is in the middle of the link.

For rear shorter is lower. Each 5mm shorter then stock will lower approx. 1/2 - 3/4 inch.
4. Re tighten bolt.
Once you have completed install start the vehicle. May need to move it forward and back a little and press the raise button to activate the suspension. Check level. If you are not happy you can easily re-adjust each link to lower more or less. Just remove the long side of the link by using a 10mm wrench instead of the adjustable wrench. Give a little twist, pop it off, adjust and reinstall. After you are satisfied you may lock them tight but not mandatory. They will never move or rotate themselves.

Depending how low you make the vehicle, a wheel alignment may be required to reduce tire wear. When doing one make sure to have the vehicle at the highest setting.
